WHAT IS INCLUDED
IN THE PURCHASE PRICE?
Everything
that is inside the redbrick pavers that run around the outside of the house
including the fencing surrounding the courtyard and shed.
CAN I HAVE A
GARDEN?
Your
house will be placed in a park like setting of trees, shrubberies and grassed
areas linked by pathways to ponds and other area of the village which staff
will maintain right up to your house. However,
if you wish to create a rockery or bed for bedding plants you are welcome to
use an area of land immediately adjoining your property by agreement with the
village management although village staff will not maintain your planting.
IS THE SHED
INCLUDED?
Yes, a
village type shed is included as is a whirly inside your courtyard for you
washing. Additional exterior structures
would not be in keeping with the village image and would not normally be
permitted.
WHAT ABOUT
INSIDE THE SHOW HOME, WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Everything
you see except the furniture, washing machine, curtains and rails, pictures,
mirrors, microwave, and the light fittings. Other than that the bath and shower room light fittings which are
included, as are all external lights. The
house is wired for TV aerials to the main bedroom and living room ready for you
to connect your TV / HiFi antennas. Yes,
the house is fully finished; tiled, decorated & carpeted, all set to move
your furniture in.
CAN I HAVE OIL
OR GAS CENTRAL HEATING?
Gas no;
there is no town gas in the village. You can have oil fired central heating in some of the properties
as an extra (currently £4,500.00) if requested at an early stage of
construction. The oil tank is placed
underground. Our houses are so well
insulated that the electric heating included in the purchase price is more than
adequate and the choice of the majority of our existing villagers.
PETS, CAN I TAKE
MY PET?
Horses
no, but a smaller dog or cat that is unlikely to disturb other villagers would
be welcome. If any pet becomes a
general nuisance the village management does have the authority to have it
removed under the deed of conditions.
CAN I SELL MY
HOUSE ON THE OPEN MARKET TO ANYONE I CHOOSE?
Yes you
can sell at any time for the full market value to anyone you wish, however
whoever occupies the property must be over 55 years of age and the village
management will partake in any profit.
