Barbaraville is situated on the shores of the Cromarty Firth where seals and dolphins mingle with Cruise Ships.The rich farmland of Easter Ross and the hills and mountains to the north and west provide a backdrop for friendly communities of Alness, Invergordon and Tain which offer both local shops and national supermarkets; as well as local medical facilities.

Barbaraville is located a short drive from the A9 affording easy access to both the north and south.There are rail links at Invergordon and Tain and a regular bus service to and from Inverness which stops outside the village entrance.

There are many local historic and tourist attractions as well as opportunities for forest and hill walking, fishing and of course, golf courses, including the renowned Royal Dornoch Golf Club. The surrounding area is well served with restaurants both for casual and fine dining .

Inverness Airport is within easy reach and offers regular scheduled flights to and from London and some other major UK cities.
